Application Form

Membership fees are $75 for 12 months, and you may join at any time of the year. You may pay by cash, e-transfer, or cheque at a monthly meeting, or mail your cheque to the address below.

We are now able to accept e-transfers at our BMO bank account (send to treasurer@vwbn.ca) for payment of membership.  FYI – we cannot send e-transfers.

Membership Requirements
  1. Person in business or business-related field, living in the Annapolis Valley or holding business interests in the Annapolis Valley, and willing to advance the goals of the group.
  2. Sponsor a meeting now and then or assist with an event (this is optional but encouraged).
  3. Pay membership fee.
  4. Be prepared to get involved. We have an active and fun executive but we need new talent to keep relevant and up to date with the changing world. Your input is appreciated. Volunteer for sub-committees/executive positions, or help organize projects and events.
  5. As a member, you must conduct yourself in a professional manner.
Photograph Permission

To promote and publicize the professional activities of the Valley Women’s Business Network and its members, we routinely take photos at events hosted by VWBN. We like to post a selection of these photos on our website, blog and the VWBN Facebook page, and we occasionally distribute them to other media (for example, to local papers along with a news release about VWBN). We may identify individuals by name and their business.

By submitting this form, you are signifying that you understand and agree to our using any such photos in which you may appear, in the ways and for the purposes outlined above.

Personal Information

The personal information you provide on the application form will be used to create your member’s profile on our website. Please include only the information you’re happy to see there. If you prefer not to include your address, please just state your community (e.g., New Minas, NS).
